Investcorp, the global alternative investment firm, has announced the final close of its $750 million Golden Horizon Cooperation Fund, in partnership with China Investment Corporation (CIC), one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds.
The Golden Horizon Fund aims to invest in high-growth companies across the GCC region and China, with a focus on consumer, healthcare, logistics, and business services sectors. The fund targets companies with strong expansion potential and operational maturity, seeking public listings or strategic exits within three to five years.
Sanaa Khater, CEO of Investcorp Capital, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s confidence in the growth potential of manufacturing and service industries across both regions, reaffirming Investcorp’s commitment to offering exclusive private investment opportunities that deliver long-term value to investors.
The fund has attracted participation from leading regional and international investors, including Jada Fund of Funds (a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund), SVC, Silk Road Fund, and Bank of China.
Managed under the Golden Horizon Platform, the fund also includes the Investcorp Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund (SPIPO), which focuses on pre-IPO investment opportunities within the GCC. The platform has already invested in NourNet, a Saudi ICT services provider; Trukker, a digital freight platform operating in Saudi Arabia and the UAE; and Salla, a Saudi SaaS platform empowering e-commerce.
Through the partnership with CIC, Investcorp aims to enhance cross-border investment cooperation, enabling portfolio companies to expand into new markets and unlock further growth opportunities between the GCC and China.
