San Jose, Calif. – September 22, 2025Empower Semiconductor, the world leader in powering AI-class processors, today announced the successful closing of over $140M in Series D financing, led by Fidelity Management & Research Company with strong participation from a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), alongside CapitalG, Walden Catalyst Ventures, Maverick Silicon, Atreides Management, Socratic Partners, and Knollwood. Barclays Capital acted as the exclusive placement agent.

With this round, Empower’s total funding exceeds $200M, fueling its mission to revolutionize how AI processors and data centers are powered. The company has developed Integrated Voltage Regulators (IVRs), which shrink traditional power management components to one-third their size, enabling direct integration into processors. This breakthrough simplifies design, improves efficiency, and can cut energy consumption by up to 50% through Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) that is 100x faster than competing solutions.

Tim Phillips, Founder & CEO of Empower, commented:
“The syndicate we now have backing Empower underscores the strength of our technology lead, market opportunity and depth of customer adoption. Over the coming quarters, we’re set to transform the AI market with our revolutionary technology, enabling gigawatts of energy savings and improved throughput of AI platforms across data centers worldwide.”

Andrew Homan, Managing Partner at Maverick Silicon, noted:
“Empower is solving the critical bottleneck in modern AI computing with a platform that combines technical leadership and commercial momentum. As power demand in data centers continues to rise, a new technology is required to enable the next generation of AI performance and Empower is setting the standard.”

James Luo, General Partner at CapitalG, added:
“Empower has demonstrated a clear vision, execution and leadership in power delivery, one of the most critical enablers of AI infrastructure. We’re excited to support the Empower team as their highly differentiated technology is having a tremendous impact on the scaling of Data Centers and performance of AI.”
