Moroccan startup DONE has successfully closed a $2.1 million Seed round, marking a pivotal milestone in Morocco’s digital transformation journey. The round, which follows a $600,000 founders’ round, was backed by a mix of local investors and business angels, reflecting growing confidence in the country’s tech ecosystem and its potential to scale regionally.
DONE is positioning itself as Morocco’s first homegrown Super App. Its platform integrates a wide range of services into a single mobile experience, including food delivery, e-commerce and quick commerce, urban mobility, digital financial services, and “buy now, pay later” solutions. The model draws inspiration from Grab, Gojek, and Careem but is built for Moroccan and African consumers, aligning with the national digital transformation strategy that aims to accelerate socioeconomic development by 2030.
Funds from this Seed round are being directed toward scaling DONE’s infrastructure, expanding into more than ten major Moroccan cities, and enhancing logistics capabilities. The company has already completed in-house development of its front-end and back-end systems, piloted operations in Rabat in May 2025, and expanded to eight regions including Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, and Fes.
Today, DONE employs 90+ staff members, supported by 500+ active delivery ambassadors and over 1,000 commercial partners, with its app already featuring major Moroccan and international brands — a clear sign of strong early adoption.
