Duaya, a leader in digital transformation for the healthcare sector, has announced the acquisition of EXMGO, a SaaS solutions provider for pharmacies and medical companies, in a six-figure deal (value undisclosed). This acquisition represents a strategic milestone toward boosting the digitization of the pharmacy sector and advancing the e-commerce ecosystem in the Egyptian market.
Founded in 2021 by Dr. Ahmed Fzara, Duaya has rapidly positioned itself as a major player in the digital healthcare landscape. The company has established partnerships with over 500 medical suppliers and manufacturers, successfully serving more than 12,000 clients, including pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and laboratories. With a growth rate exceeding 200%, Duaya’s business model has proven to be both strong and scalable.
Duaya aims to reach 25,000 clients by the end of this year, while also planning to expand into Gulf markets by 2026.
The acquisition of EXMGO is fully aligned with Duaya’s vision to broaden its digital portfolio. EXMGO specializes in SaaS platforms that allow pharmacies and medical businesses to build branded mobile applications and websites, enabling them to manage sales, inventory, payments, and customer engagement online. Post-acquisition, Duaya relaunched the service under the brand name “Duaya Go”, enhanced with advanced technological features.
Commenting on the acquisition, Dr. Ahmed Fzara, Founder and CEO of Duaya, said:
“The acquisition of EXMGO is part of our strategy to serve a larger segment of pharmacies and medical companies. Our vision is clear: to digitize pharmacies and transform traditional sales into platform-based digital operations. This will significantly increase market efficiency and provide customers with a seamless, professional purchasing experience.”
He further added:
“Duaya has evolved from being just a B2B platform into an integrated solutions provider, offering medical supplies, software, artificial intelligence, and now direct e-commerce through Duaya Go.”
On his part, Eng. Islam Nasr, CEO of EXMGO, commented:
“Joining EXMGO with Duaya marks a turning point. With our expertise in SaaS solutions for pharmacies, and Duaya’s extensive resources, we are now able to serve thousands of pharmacies more effectively, supporting their transition into e-commerce with speed and efficiency.”
