Impact46, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading venture capital firms, has announced its largest investment to date, committing over $53 million into Kammelna Studio, the Saudi gaming company renowned for digitizing the Kingdom’s most iconic card game, Baloot.
Headquartered in Dammam, Kammelna has established itself as a cultural gaming powerhouse, with more than 6 million downloads, 1 million monthly active users, and tournaments that have attracted over 150,000 participants.

The announcement was made during the Next Gen Sports Conference (NGSC25), held in parallel with the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing influence in the global gaming industry.
With assets under management exceeding $613 million, Impact46 has backed leading companies such as Jahez, Rasan, Almajdouie Logistics, and ZenHR. This deal reinforces the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy, positioning gaming and esports as a key driver of economic diversification.
