Tactful AI, the Egypt-based startup specializing in AI-powered customer experience (CX) solutions, has announced a new chapter in its growth journey, following the full reacquisition by its founders, Mohamed El-Masry and Mohammed Hassan, after a previous acquisition by European firm Dstny in 2022.

The move sets the stage for independent growth, with a focus on expanding into Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, and Western Europe.

Over the past three years, the company has invested over $5 million in building proprietary AI technology, resulting in the launch of the first fully Egyptian-developed AI product for CX management.

The platform is already helping enterprises in retail, e-commerce, hospitality, and finance deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized customer interactions, with reported digital revenue increases of 15–35% within a few months of implementation.

According to Mohamed El-Masry, Co-Founder and CEO:
“We’re proud to build globally competitive AI from Egypt. This reacquisition is just the beginning.”

Tactful AI’s no-code platform offers real-time customer interaction management across all digital channels, enhanced by intelligent automation and analytics — positioning the company as a regional alternative to global players like Zendesk, Intercom, Genesys, and Freshdesk.

With a client base including Fairmont, Address Hotels, El Araby Group, Lazurde, and Erada Microfinance, the company operates from Cairo and Cambridge and continues to invest heavily in R&D to strengthen its international competitiveness.
