Al Moammar Information Systems (MIS), listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange, has announced its full exit from US-based artificial intelligence company “Anthropic” for $9.33 million.

The company reported that the divestment generated a profit of $4.26 million, which will be included in the financial results for Q2 2025.

MIS had originally invested $5 million in Anthropic during its Series D funding round last year.

This move is part of MIS’s strategic initiative to build a global investment portfolio in AI companies, aiming to diversify revenue streams and enhance future returns. The company had allocated SAR 40 million from its own resources to support this initiative.

The exit reflects MIS’s commitment to staying aligned with global tech trends and capitalizing on high-growth AI startups.
