Istanbul, Türkiye – Boğaziçi Ventures, a leading technology and venture capital investment firm, has launched BV Growth II, a next-generation fund designed to invest in early-stage artificial intelligence startups.

The fund goes beyond just providing capital. It offers strategic partnerships and global acceleration support to help AI startups move from product launch to large-scale growth.

A Platform for Scalable AI Innovation

BV Growth II focuses on startups with market-ready and productized AI solutions, targeting companies ready to enter or expand within the commercialization phase. This enables investors to partner with entrepreneurs who are not only building high-potential businesses but also transforming entire industries.

“We have created BV Growth II, the easiest way to become a partner in artificial intelligence startups,” said Barış Özistek, CEO of Boğaziçi Ventures.
“This fund is for visionary investors who want to back tomorrow’s unicorns at the right stage and with strong share positions.”

More Than Capital: Strategic Partnership and Global Support

Gizem Sezer, Managing Partner at Boğaziçi Ventures, described the fund’s broader mission:

“BV Growth II is more than just an investment vehicle. It’s a strategic platform where institutional investors can help shape the future. Our fund provides both financing and global acceleration support for early-stage AI startups aiming to make a global impact.”

Münir Kundakçı, the fund’s manager, added:

“Artificial intelligence is rapidly turning this era into a trillion-dollar technology age. Supporting the right startup at the right moment is critical. BV Growth II delivers strong value through deep tech knowledge, founder relationships, and sharp market insight.”

Building on a Track Record of Success

BV Growth II follows the success of the firm’s first fund, BV Growth I, which made 40 early-stage investments and achieved two successful exits. The new fund has already begun deploying capital, with typical investments ranging between $1.5 million and $2 million. These investments will support startup growth journeys over a minimum period of two years.

The fund is designed to not only provide financial backing but also act as an accelerator—helping startups access global markets and business opportunities through Boğaziçi Ventures’ international network.

Türkiye’s Competitive Advantage in AI

Türkiye is now well-positioned as a hotspot for AI innovation. The country offers low technology development costs, technical talent, and a vibrant early-stage startup scene. BV Growth II connects this domestic potential with a global investment thesis, making it an attractive opportunity for forward-thinking investors.

Unlike traditional VC models, BV Growth II is built around a deep understanding of emerging technologies, strategic sector insight, and the ability to scale companies globally. It provides investors with more than just financial returns—it offers the chance to help shape the future of the AI industry.
