Darwinz AI, a Saudi-Egyptian startup, has raised $325,000 in its first-ever institutional funding round, led by Flat6Labs KSA and Glint Ventures.

Founded in Egypt in 2021 by Emad Elazhary and Mohy Aboualam, Darwinz AI offers an AI-powered platform called Dima that helps marketing and PR teams track brand sentiment, detect potential crises, and analyze media coverage in real time.

The platform was launched in late 2024 and is currently used by over 300 professionals across six MENA countries, covering industries such as telecom, F&B, banking, real estate, automotive, aviation, and the public sector.

The funding will be used to support expansion plans in the GCC, starting with a stronger presence through the company’s office at The Garage in Riyadh. A portion of the funds will also go toward enhancing the Dima platform based on customer feedback, as the company prepares for global expansion in 2026.

Mohy Aboualam stated that the company does not intend to launch new products at this stage, focusing instead on refining Dima for targeted use cases.
