Kazam Raises $6 Mn in Series B Funding to Expand EV Charging Network

Electric mobility startup Kazam has secured Rs 51 Cr (~$6 Mn) in its Series B round led by Vertex Ventures, with participation from Avaana Capital and Chakra Growth Capital.

  • Key Investments:
    • Vertex Ventures invested $4.9 Mn via its funds.
    • Avaana Capital contributed $1.01 Mn.
    • Chakra Growth Capital added $0.9 Mn.
  • Post-Funding Stakeholding:
    • Vertex Ventures holds 22.88%.
    • Avaana Capital owns 17.02%.
    • Chakra Growth Capital retains 1.51%.

A regulatory filing confirmed Kazam’s issuance of 36,410 Series B shares at $165.06 per share.

Use of Funds:
The capital will fuel smart charging network expansion, growth initiatives, and corporate activities.
