Cairo, Egypt – In a strategic move to support the discovery and development of sports talent in Egypt, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially signed a cooperation protocol with Grintafy, the largest football talent discovery platform in the Middle East.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Eng. Majdi Al-Lulu, Chairman and Founder of Grintafy.
This partnership aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to empower youth both athletically and socially, while enhancing Egypt’s presence on the regional and international sports stage.
Minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhy highlighted that the collaboration stems from a strong belief in the importance of discovering and nurturing Egyptian football talent, which will ultimately enhance the level of national sports and contribute to the overall well-being of Egyptian youth.
He emphasized that the initiative is part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to improve youth quality of life through sports as a powerful tool for inclusive development.
On his part, Eng. Majdi Al-Lulu, Chairman and Founder of Grintafy, expressed pride in partnering with the Ministry, stating that the joint project is designed to implement professional programs for football talent discovery and development.
These programs will involve collaboration with federations, top-tier European and Saudi clubs, and international sports academies. The project will also offer real training opportunities under world-class coaches, enabling young athletes to raise their technical and physical skills and prepare for both local and international competitions.
This collaboration stands as a model for strategic public-private partnerships, aiming to build a solid sports base and uncover Egypt’s future football champions.
