Saudi-based Taawoni, a leading platform in cooperative training and professional development, has successfully closed a $1.6 million investment round led by M Capital, with participation from other supporting investors.

Founded in 2021 by Aliyah Alghubayn, Taawoni is transforming how universities and organizations collaborate by automating cooperative training (Co-op) programs that connect near-graduation students with public and private sector institutions. The platform simplifies and streamlines the entire training cycle, from onboarding to tracking and evaluation.

In addition to Co-op automation, Taawoni offers AI-powered internal Learning & Mentorship Platforms (LMPs) designed to support professional development across industries, helping institutions develop future-ready talent in line with Saudi Arabia’s evolving workforce needs.

This funding round underscores investor confidence in Taawoni’s mission and impact, positioning the company for further innovation, market expansion, and deeper integration into the education and HR tech ecosystems across the region.
