Glide, a U.S.-based provider of embedded fintech solutions, has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round aimed at accelerating product innovation and enhancing its capabilities in artificial intelligence.

The round was led by Acrew Capital, with participation from Pear VC, Pathlight Capital, and prominent angel investors including Claire Hughes Johnson (former COO of Stripe), Paul Williamson (former CRO of Plaid), and Arash Ferdowsi (Co-founder of Dropbox).

Headquartered in New York City, Glide plans to use the new capital to accelerate the development of its product roadmap, expand its engineering team, strengthen go-to-market strategies, and scale its AI capabilities. This includes work on upcoming products related to loan origination and agentic tooling.

Glide offers an embedded fintech platform tailored for credit unions and community banks, which are essential pillars of the American banking system but often rely on outdated infrastructure and fragmented vendor stacks.

Glide’s platform enables these institutions to deliver modern, seamless digital experiences without compromising the trust they have cultivated in their communities.

The company’s first product, Deposit Origination, has proven transformational by reducing account opening time from 20 minutes to under 3 minutes, leading to a 3x improvement in conversion rates and significant operational efficiency gains.

Within just 12 months, Glide has signed 15 credit unions to long-term contracts, all through founder-led sales.

Glide is led by co-founders Gautam Ajjarapu (CEO), Sameer Kapur (CTO), and Vishnu Chakroborty (COO) — a team known for their strong combination of fintech depth, AI fluency, and execution speed in regulated markets.
