On May 4, 2025,Nama Ventures Capital Co, one of the first foreign venture capital firms to be fully regulated under Saudi Capital Markets law, has officially received approval from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to launch its investment management operations in the Kingdom.
This approval follows Nama’s strategic decision to relocate its regulatory base to Saudi Arabia, in addition to maintaining its presence in the Cayman Islands, aligning the firm with the Kingdom’s dynamic investment environment and regulatory framework.
With all requirements fulfilled, Nama Ventures is now a licensed Saudi investment company, marking a key advancement in its positioning within the local innovation landscape.
