LOS ANGELES, USA – CHAOS Industries, a cutting-edge technology company building the next generation of defense and national security systems, today announced that it has raised $275 million in Series C funding, marking a pivotal moment in its commercial expansion.

The round was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and co-led by Accel, with additional participation from StepStone Group, Overmatch Ventures, Tru Arrow Partners, and Valor Equity Partners.

The latest investment brings CHAOS Industries’ total funding since inception to $490 million, reaffirming investor confidence in the company’s mission to redefine modern defense infrastructure through scalable, high-performance technologies.

The Series C proceeds will support the enhancement of CHAOS Industries’ advanced detection, monitoring, and communication solutions, scale up its manufacturing operations, and accelerate the development of next-generation technologies to meet complex security challenges faced by the U.S. and its allies.

John Tenet, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, stated:

CHAOS Industries is delivering transformative solutions that meet critical defense objectives. Our national security future depends on access to advanced technologies and our commitment to developing them. This funding round underscores that mission.

Dr. Bo Marr, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, added:

The global threat landscape is evolving rapidly. Persistent innovation is essential, and this investment allows us to push the boundaries of what’s possible in defense technology.

Scott Sandell, Executive Chairman & CIO of NEA, commented:

CHAOS has engineered a sensing and command infrastructure that addresses deep-rooted asymmetries in defense—complexity, cost, and fragility. Their architecture enables distributed sensing, time-synchronized networks, and system resilience, allowing new tactical capabilities on the battlefield.

The Series C follows CHAOS Industries’ $145 million Series B round closed in November 2024, which was led by Accel with participation from 8VC, Overmatch Ventures, Lerner Enterprises, and others.

Recently, the company appointed former CIA Director George J. Tenet as Executive Chairman, adding unmatched strategic leadership and national security expertise to its board.

CHAOS Industries is currently developing a new category of defense infrastructure called Coherent Distributed Networks™, which provides revolutionary performance advantages to sensors and effectors. Its first product, Vanquish™, is a dual-use, multistatic radar designed for early-warning and high-accuracy tracking of drones, missiles, and aircraft.
