NEW YORK, May 1, 2025dub, the U.S.-based startup specializing in copy-trading and social investing technologies, has announced the successful closure of its $30 million Series A funding round, co-led by Notable Capital and Neo, bringing its total funding to $47 million just one year after launching publicly.

The new round also includes backing from Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, Peak6 Strategic Capital, Correlation Ventures, and a $5.5 million venture debt facility from Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a division of First Citizens Bank. The capital will support dub’s expansion of its creator-driven investment marketplace and the development of tools that improve accessibility for retail investors.

dub is redefining retail investing by turning it into a platform for education and access, rather than speculation. The app empowers a new generation—especially Gen Z—to participate in the market by following and copying proven investment strategies from financial influencers and experienced investors, all in a transparent, regulated environment.

Nearly 40% of Americans don’t own a single stock, and 88% of market wealth is concentrated among the wealthiest 10%,” said Steven Wang, founder and CEO of dub. “We believe investing should not be reserved for the ultra-wealthy. dub makes professional-grade strategies accessible through a simple, social interface.”

In just 12 months, dub has surpassed 1 million downloads, driven by unique features such as real-time tracking of public portfolios, including those of prominent politicians like Nancy Pelosi, based on public disclosures.

dub operates on a $10/month subscription model, offering users access to model portfolios curated by vetted investors. These creators are compensated through royalty payments via the dub Advisors program, allowing financial expertise to become a monetizable and discoverable asset.

dub is simplifying the path to financial literacy and enabling confident investing,” said Wang. “While social media is full of questionable advice, dub embraces the trend and delivers a trustworthy space where investment strategies are verified, tracked, and easy to adopt.”

Hans Tung, Managing Partner at Notable Capital and dub board member, said:

“Steven and the team at dub have created a platform that speaks to everyday consumers while giving underrepresented financial creators the opportunity to grow their influence.”

Ali Partovi, from Neo, added:

“dub’s rapid rise marks the arrival of a new era in consumer investing and the rise of investor-influencers. The ambition here is immense, and we’re proud to have backed the team from the beginning.”

By blending the influence of social media with regulation and transparency, dub is building a financial ecosystem where anyone can follow proven strategies, develop financial literacy, and build wealth with confidence.
