Dubai-based HUSHDAY, the Middle East’s first premium, invitation-only flash sales platform, has successfully raised $550,000 (over AED 2 million) in a pre-seed funding round backed by regional tech investors.

Founded in 2024 by Jennifer Cohen Solal, Jean Thillaye du Boullay, and Riad Djabri, HUSHDAY aims to reinvent the retail experience for luxury brands by offering a controlled and high-performance platform for curated flash sales

HUSHDAY provides brands with real-time analytics, pricing control, and inventory strategy while avoiding the traditional retail approach and mass-discount sites. Instead, it creates a premium distribution layer designed to foster brand integrity and maximize engagement.

The platform will officially launch in the UAE in May 2025, with expansion plans into Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait by 2026. It aims to host up to 50 flash sales monthly, supported by AI-driven recommendations and a loyalty rewards system.

Jean Thillaye du Boullay, COO and co-founder, noted: “Each campaign is an opportunity for revenue and retention by purposefully reaching new audiences.”
Riad Djabri, former engineering lead at Doctolib and HUSHDAY CTO, added: “We want each flash sale to feel personalized, not just transactional.”

With the GCC premium off-price market expected to reach $6 billion, HUSHDAY is strategically positioned to meet growing regional demand through a tech-driven, scalable solution.

Built in Dubai and powered by local tech investors, HUSHDAY operates on a referral-only basis, offering invited users limited-time sales across fashion, beauty, and electronics — all supported by a fully robotized third-party logistics system.
