Seesaw, a global edtech leader serving pre-kindergarten through grade 12, has announced a strategic acquisition of Jordanian startup Little Thinking Minds, a company specialized in developing cutting-edge Arabic language learning and literacy solutions.
This move marks a significant advancement in Seesaw’s regional presence in the Middle East and North Africa and enriches its portfolio with culturally resonant digital learning tools.
Through this acquisition, Seesaw will integrate Little Thinking Minds’ award-winning digital Arabic literacy curricula into its intelligent education platform. The combined solution will provide schools, teachers, and ministries of education with a comprehensive suite of interactive tools that enhance student engagement and literacy in Arabic.
Seesaw also announced plans to launch the very first fully Arabic educational platform in 2026, promising to open new horizons for multilingual learning experiences worldwide.
Seesaw’s platform, trusted by over 25 million educators, students, and families globally, transforms classrooms into creative learning environments by providing real-time assessments and data-driven insights.
Little Thinking Minds, founded in 2004, has already empowered more than 400,000 Arab students in over 10 countries through its digital platforms—including I Read Arabic, I Start Arabic, and Mizaan for Assessments—and has established itself as a prominent name in the Arab edtech scene.
Reflecting on the acquisition, Matthew Given, CEO of Seesaw, stated, “This partnership is a major milestone in our mission to create interactive and effective learning experiences for students worldwide. By integrating the innovative solutions developed by Little Thinking Minds, we are poised to empower educators and learners with tools that honor the rich cultural heritage of the Arabic language.”
Rama Kayyali, Co-Founder and CEO of Little Thinking Minds, added, “We are incredibly proud to join the Seesaw family. This achievement marks the culmination of our journey to elevate Arabic literacy and educational excellence across the region. Together, we will expand our impact and foster transformative learning experiences.”
Already, the combined platforms serve over 800,000 users across more than 3,000 schools, ministries, and educational groups throughout the MENA region. With this strategic acquisition, Seesaw and Little Thinking Minds are set to drive further global expansion and innovation in multilingual education.
