VUZ, a platform known for delivering interactive live video experiences from exclusive locations like award shows and global stadiums, has closed its Pre-Series C funding round with $12 million in investment.
Key investors include the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Success Cross Work Fund, AlJazira Capital, as well as prominent Saudi family offices and existing backers.
The funding aims to double down on growth in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, while accelerating expansion into Africa, Asia, and the U.S. The company will focus on enhancing its multi-platform experience across smartphones, smart glasses, and connected TVs.
VUZ has partnered with over 100 content creators and secured exclusive streaming deals with LaLiga and the Professional Fighters League (PFL), serving an audience of over 100 million users.
