aljdwa has signed a strategic Collaboration Memorandum with GEN–22 On Sloane on the sidelines of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance Summit. The signing took place in the presence of HRH Prince Fahad bin Mansour AlSaud (Fahad M AlSaud), Chair of startup20saudi, the official Saudi delegation under the G20 Startup Group, as well as Jonathan Ortmans, Founder and President of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN).
The memorandum was signed by Waleed Althabi, Ph.D, Founder and CEO of aljdwa, and Kizito Okechukwu, CEO of 22 On Sloane.
The collaboration aims to develop innovative digital tools, strengthen the startup ecosystem, and support entrepreneurial growth across both Saudi Arabia and South Africa. Key initiatives within the agreement include joint programs in incubation, training, and feasibility-study development, in addition to structured channels designed to connect entrepreneurs with investors across both markets.
Expected outcomes of the memorandum include the establishment of a joint startup accelerator, the development of a cross-market digital platform, and the publication of quarterly impact reports to assess ecosystem performance and progress.
