Independent mobile game studio Bucked Games, known for developing mobile games and interactive educational content, has secured a $500,000 investment in a funding round led by Albaraka Portfolio Management’s Insha GSYF fund.
With this new funding, Bucked Games is set to accelerate its expansion into global markets and broaden its product portfolio, reinforcing its mission to become a globally recognized Turkish game studio that merges education and entertainment through gamified learning experiences.
Founded in 2021 within Bahçeşehir University’s BUGLab TEKMER and currently operating under Startgate TEKMER, Bucked Games creates interactive solutions that enhance children’s learning processes by integrating educational principles into enjoyable mobile gameplay.
To date, the company has reached millions of users worldwide, launching over 20 mobile games, including titles with more than 2.5 million players. Its educational games have been implemented in over 300 schools, engaging more than 100,000 students, positioning Bucked Games as a pioneer in the Turkish educational gaming space.
By prioritizing pedagogical accuracy alongside entertainment, Bucked Games promotes a sustainable learning model that nurtures cognitive development, problem-solving skills, and creativity in children.
